This year, the RE:D Conference brought together key figures from real estate, investment, tourism, and urban planning – and our Concord team was there too. Two days filled with panels, knowledge exchange, and conversations with professionals from across the region left a strong impression on us.
Instead of a traditional report, we want to share our personal takeaways: what inspired us, who we had the chance to speak with, and what insights we’ll carry forward in our work.
Igor Vlaović: Clients, Passports, and Big Names in Business
“What intrigued me the most was the panel Montenegro as an Investment Destination – not just because of the topic, but also because of the speakers. The experiences shared by Henley & Partners in working with clients looking to invest in Montenegro were extremely valuable, especially since they closely mirror what we do on a daily basis,” says Igor.
Additionally, insights from CBRE representatives, who have worked on selling major franchises in the country, raised new questions – but also new opportunities.
“I was also fascinated by the fact that the Montenegrin passport allows visa-free entry to 129 countries. For foreign clients, this can be a very strong argument when discussing their plans and interests.”
Petar Abramović: Networking That Makes Sense
For Petar, RE:D was much more than just a conference – it was a space for meaningful connections.
“Events like this are invaluable for expanding your network. I had the chance to speak with colleagues from Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, all of whom are working on major projects. It was fascinating to see how similar our challenges are – but also how differently we approach solving them,” he says.
This exchange of experiences, he adds, helps you see the bigger picture of the market more clearly – and better position yourself in your own work.
Vladimir Vlahović: A Perspective from Multiple Angles
“What inspired me the most was the breadth of perspectives,” says Vlado.
“The panelists came from diverse fields – business, law, development – and each brought their own angle on the market. It was extremely valuable to hear about their experiences and how they solved concrete problems.”
Vlado believes that every agent should attend such an event at least once a year:
“This is the best way to stay up-to-date with the actual state of the market, as well as to gain insight into what lies ahead. On top of that, the opportunity to meet and connect with the most successful people in the industry is priceless.”
Nikola Keković: On Stage, Among Colleagues
This time, Nikola was on the other side – as a panelist.
“It was a pleasure to share the stage with experts who have extensive experience. The panels provided a fairly clear overview of the real estate market – we heard about what happened in the past period, as well as the forecasts moving forward.”
For him, it was particularly important that different aspects of the market were presented – and that challenges were discussed openly, not just successes.
Conclusion: Why We Attend – and Why We Return
For us, the RE:D conference was not just another event – it was an opportunity to see the market more realistically, connect with the people shaping it, and bring concrete knowledge and insights back to the office. Being part of such a gathering means staying closer to the pulse of the market – and that is exactly what we want for ourselves and our clients.
